Services
Equitable Policy Analysis & Development
For all policy development, I will provide explanations behind draft language including:
Pro and Con analysis
Talking points
Expected edge-cases
For all policy analysis, I will assess what policies your organization currently utilizes within the prescribed domain and make recommendations or draft policies to remediate whatever issues are identified in the analysis.
You will come away with policies and practices that you will understand, be able to implement, and know how to build on.
Strategic Planning
My strategic planning work is centered on the 3-step process of doing protected-class conscious policies. That process is, briefly:
Proving that you have an issue
Attempting to solve the issue with neutral measures
Crafting narrowly tailored policies for whichever issues remain after items 1. and 2.
That means I will assess your organization’s efforts on equitable policies, programming, or employment procedures and work with you to develop a long-term plan to resolve those issues in a legally defensible way (of course with your lawyers as well as I am not a lawyer).
You will come away feeling confident that you know what you need to be working on for the next 3 to 5 years.
Disparity Analysis
Disparity analyses for organizations typically fall within the three domains of:
Workforce - Your employees
Contracting - Your vendors
Client base - Your customers or donors
Irrespective of the domain, I can work with your organization to assess whether or not there are statistically relevant disparities on any actions your organization takes that can be disaggregated by groups.
You will come away understanding what your issues are and aren’t, quantitatively, and will be able to prioritize your efforts with clear and concise information.
Equitable Mindset Leadership Development
I will work with your leadership directly to improve their working knowledge and mindset around equitable processes. Your leader or team of leaders will finish this service with confidence that they can eloquently speak on diversity, equity, and inclusion processes and know how to accept challenges on these topics with grace and humility.
On-CalL Consulting Services
I will be available to your organization for a set amount of hours per month. You will have a baseline expectation that you can reach me for any issue and I will have dedicated time allotted to address your concerns.
